A Little Update

I'm going to try really hard to be better at updating these blogs! For now, here are a couple of recent pics of the kiddos. (I would have more of Colby, but he moves too darn quick!)






I have found that wearing Lily in a sling really helps me get things done around the house and with Colby while still snuggling her. It's SUCH a lifesaver.







Lily is now almost 12 weeks old.













Colby will be 2.5 in March!











Life is busy, but very wonderful and blessed.

Colby's Snow Day!

We have 11" here today and more on the way!

Colby hated the snow at first but then he loved running around in it.

Our Day at the Pumpkin Patch

We had so much fun at the pumpkin patch. Colby got to see all kinds of animals, big 'ol pumpkins, a corn maze, and lots and lots of kids. It turns out, his favorite part was riding on the wagon that was towed behind a tractor to take us to and from the pumpkin patch. He thought that was pretty sweet. Colby has started "dancing" and spinning around in circles this week. It's pretty cute. Here's a video to prove how dog-gone cute it is!

Colby's First Birthday!

Colby had such a wonderful time at his birthday party. It was neat to be able to have his party on his actual birthday! We had about 30 people help us celebrate and the weather was gorgeous. The kids got to play with playdough and big bubble makers (and little ones too!) and even some of the adults joined in the fun. We BBQ'ed hot dogs and hamburgers and although Colby wanted nothing to do with dinner, he was more than happy to devour his cake! He made a big 'ol mess just like he was supposed to. After cake, Clint opened Colby's presents and Colby played with them. He got lots of good stuff! He had a wonderful day and it couldn't have gone any better. Thank you to everyone for helping us make this such a special day!

That's right! He started a little over a week ago and he's slowly but surely becoming a pro. He's only 10 and a half months old! What an over-achiever. ; )
